In short

What it is

What a landing page is

A landing page is a page with one goal: getting a visitor from your ad to make an enquiry. No menu full of distractions and no story about your whole business. Only what someone needs to decide.

The difference from your homepage is big. Someone who clicks on 'dormer installation Arnhem' and lands on your homepage has to go searching. On a landing page the dormer, the region and a form are right there.

That's why we never let ads land on the homepage. Every important service and region gets a page of its own, with projects from that region where possible.

How we build it

Six rules for every landing page

A landing page is not a small website. Every element has to bring the visitor closer to an enquiry.

01

Headline on the search term

The H1 matches what someone searched for and the ad. That way the visitor knows straight away they're in the right place.

02

Form above the fold

On a phone the form is in view straight away, without scrolling first.

03

Short form

Only the questions you need, plus one question that shows whether the job suits you.

04

Proof high on the page

Reviews, quality marks and real project photos are placed where the visitor hesitates, not tucked away at the bottom.

05

Mobile first

Most people click your ad from their phone. We design for that screen and scale up from there.

06

Fast loading

A slow page costs you the click you've already paid for. We keep the page light.

Measure

Every enquiry measured down to the quote

A landing page is only finished when you know what it delivers. We measure every form and every click on your phone number, and we see per page how many visitors make an enquiry.

Every form gets hidden fields for the Google click ID, the code that comes with every ad click. That way we know for every enquiry which ad it came from. If the enquiry becomes a signed job, we send that back to Google Ads.

That also makes the page better over time. We see where visitors drop off and test improvements. Read more about conversion optimisation and conversion tracking.

Way of working

From search term to working landing page

01

Goal and search term

Together we decide which service and region the page serves, which search term it needs to match and when an enquiry counts as good.

02

Copy and proof

We write the copy in your tone and gather the proof: reviews, project photos and quality marks.

03

Design and build

We design for mobile first and build the page so you can edit text and photos yourself.

04

Measurement and going live

We test the form, the measurement and the click IDs. Then the page goes live and the ads point to it.

05

Adjusting

We look at what the page delivers and improve where visitors drop off.

Our team answers your questions.

A website tells the whole story of your business. A landing page has one goal: getting a visitor from an ad to make an enquiry. That's why it covers one service, for one region, with a form straight in view.

For the services you advertise, yes. Someone looking for a dormer doesn't want to see a page about gutters. The better the page matches the search, the more often a click becomes an enquiry.

Yes. A page per service and region with its own content, such as projects from that place, also helps your SEO. Pages that are only meant for ads and are nearly identical to other pages, we keep out of Google.

As short as possible. Name, contact details and the questions you really need to size up the job. One question that shows whether the job suits you saves you time on price hunters later.

Yes. We build the page so you can change the text, photos and reviews yourself. We'd rather discuss big changes first, so we can measure what they do.
