Online marketing for bricklayers
We make sure that as a bricklayer you get your own enquiries from private customers and clients in your region, alongside the work you do through contractors. Measured all the way to the quote.
100+ businesses and growing

A lot of work comes through word of mouth, and that is where the risk sits
Many bricklayers work as subcontractors. A contractor calls, you lay the facade, and your next job depends on that same contractor. On top of that, private customers come with a garden wall, an extension, facade repairs or new pointing. That customer looks for a bricklayer nearby and looks at photos of earlier work.
That is where it often goes wrong. There is no website, or just a page with a phone number. Anyone searching on Google then finds another business or a job platform. And because a bricklayer is usually up on the scaffolding, a missed call sits there until the evening.
A good enquiry for a bricklayer describes what needs to be built, the length or surface area, the type of brick if it is already known, and a few photos. Then you know whether it is a job for an afternoon or work for a few weeks.

This is how your customers search
The search volume is small and most searches are about the trade itself or about garden walls.
| Search term | Searches per month | Cost per click (highest) |
|---|---|---|
| metselaar | 2.400 | € 2,34 |
| muurtje metselen | 590 | € 3,50 |
| tuinmuur metselen | 260 | € 1,47 |
| muur metselen in tuin | 170 | € 1,63 |
| muur metselen kosten | 140 | € 1,64 |
| tuinmuur metselen kosten | 90 | € 1,39 |

March and January are the peaks
Search demand for bricklayers peaked in March 2026, with a second peak in January. In December demand was lowest, about half of March. Search terms about garden walls climb in March and April and drop sharply in autumn and winter.
Anyone searching in January or March is planning work for spring and summer. Because the search volume is small, it is not about a big budget. It is about being at the top in those weeks with a clear page, in Google Ads and in Google Maps. In the quiet months we keep the budget low and work on your Google Business Profile and reviews.
- Highest demand: March
- Second peak: January
- Quietest: December

What we do for a bricklayer
A small search volume calls for sharp choices. This is what we do in your trade.
A website with your own brickwork
Pages for garden walls, extensions, facade repairs and pointing, with photos of your own work and a form that asks for measurements and photos.
Google Ads for your trade
Ads on search terms like “metselaar” and “tuinmuur metselen” in your service area. We exclude searchers who only want instructions on bricklaying themselves.
At the top in Google Maps
With a small search volume, Google Maps carries a lot of weight. We build out your Business Profile with reviews, photos and regular posts.
No enquiry left waiting
Every enquiry gets a confirmation and you get a notification on your phone, so you can call back quickly even from the scaffolding.
Tracking to the quote
You see which enquiries came from private customers and which from clients, and which became a signed job.
One business per region
We work with one business per region per trade. We don’t help another bricklayer in your service area.
The first three months
This is how we build it, with spring as the goal.

Day 1: intro call
We look at your service area, your margins and where your work comes from now. You hear honestly whether the system fits alongside the work you do through contractors.
Week 1: baseline
We set up tracking all the way to the quote, so from the start you see which jobs come from which channel.
Month 1: the foundation
Website and conversion first: pages per type of brickwork, your own project photos and a short enquiry form.
Months 2 and 3: Google Ads
Campaigns on buying intent in your region, on the search terms from the table. After that we adjust every month.
Depending on others or getting your own enquiries
Job platforms or one-off parties
- A job often goes to several tradespeople at the same time
- Small jobs and price comparison sites fill your diary
- Your work depends on a handful of clients
- Nobody measures which job came from where
Your own enquiries with Marketingkenners
- The enquiry comes in only to you
- The customer saw your own brickwork before the first contact
- You choose which jobs you want to attract
- One measurement from search to signed quote
Which bricklayers this works for
The Growth System works best if these points are true for your business.
- Your jobs are usually €2,000 or more
- Alongside subcontracting, you want your own customers in your region
- You can follow up enquiries within one working day
- You have photos of your own brickwork, or want to have them made
- You want to know which euro produces a signed job
- You mainly want more clicks, likes or followers. We steer on enquiries and signed jobs.
- You’d rather try it yourself first. Start in the knowledge base
- You don’t know yet where the leak is. Take the free growth scan first

Frequently asked questions
Don't see your question here? Call, WhatsApp or email us. You'll get an answer within one working day.

Does Google Ads work for bricklayers?
Yes, but the search volume is small. That is why we focus the campaigns tightly on your service area and on search terms with buying intent, such as “metselaar” and “tuinmuur metselen”. That way a limited budget goes to people who are looking for someone right now.
When will I see the first enquiries?
Month 1 is the foundation: website, conversion and tracking. In months 2 and 3 we launch the Google Ads campaigns. How many enquiries that brings in depends on your region, your site and the season, and you see it in the tracking from the start.
Do you also work for my competitor?
No. We work with one business per region per trade. If we work for you, we don’t help another bricklayer in the same service area.
What does it cost?
That depends on your service area, your goals and what is already in place. In the intro call we map that out and you hear what it costs. Book a free intro call.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. In 9 out of 10 cases it does start with a better foundation, because without photos of your work and a clear form you lose the visitor. Sometimes tweaking is enough, sometimes a new website is the fastest route.
