Marketing for heat pump installers who want to grow
We make sure a heat pump installer gets its own enquiries for hybrid and all-electric heat pumps. With a system that follows the customer's long research phase through to the signed quote.
100+ businesses and growing

A long decision with many questions
You do not buy a heat pump in an afternoon. The customer wants to know whether the home is insulated well enough, whether hybrid is enough or all-electric is possible, and what the outdoor unit does to noise and space. Then come the subsidy, the payback time and the question of which brand.
It often starts with a boiler that is due for replacement. Sometimes the boiler is already broken and something has to happen fast. Then the customer picks whoever comes round first and explains clearly what is possible.
Where it goes wrong now: the customer asks for three quotes and compares on price, while one quote includes a heat loss calculation and the other does not. Whoever shows how the advice works is not compared on price alone.

This is how your customers search
Customers search by type of heat pump and by cost, and also a lot by brand name.
| Search term | Searches per month | Cost per click (highest) |
|---|---|---|
| heat pump | 40.500 | € 3,63 |
| hybrid heat pump | 18.100 | € 3,47 |
| heat pump cost | 8.100 | € 2,36 |
| heat pump boiler | 6.600 | € 1,98 |
| hybrid boiler | 4.400 | € 2,44 |
| all electric heat pump | 2.400 | € 5,15 |
| air water heat pump | 1.900 | € 2,46 |

Spring pulls, the summer dips
Search demand for “heat pump” peaks in March and April with 60,500 searches a month. In August 2026 it dropped to 27,100, less than half. Demand is also high in November and January, at 49,500.
The “hybrid heat pump” peaks earlier, in March with 27,100, and drops in July to 9,900. “Heat pump cost” is highest in April with 14,800 and lowest in August with 4,400.
For your planning that means: the most budget for Google Ads from February through April, extra attention in the heating season, and less advertising in the summer. Because customers research for a long time, good follow-up of enquiries that do not sign straight away pays off.

What we do for a heat pump installer
Six parts that guide the customer from first question to signed quote.
A website that shows your advice
Pages for hybrid, all-electric and heat pump boilers. With photos of outdoor units and installations you fitted and an explanation of insulation and suitability.
Google Ads per type of heat pump
Separate ads for “hybrid heat pump”, “all electric heat pump” and “heat pump boiler” in your service area. That way every searcher lands on the right page.
Found in your region
A Google Business Profile with reviews and photos of installations nearby. Customers want an installer who is close for maintenance.
Qualifying enquiries
The form asks for year built, insulation and current boiler. That way you know up front whether it will be a hybrid or an all-electric conversation.
Follow-up during long hesitation
Many customers do not sign straight away. With reminders and a fixed follow-up, an open quote does not just sit there.
One installer per region
We work with one business per region in each trade. Another heat pump installer in your region does not get this from us.
How we start with your installation business
First a foundation that catches enquiries, then ads.

Day 1: intro call
We go through your service area, your margins and the heat pumps you install. Do you mostly do hybrid or all-electric too? We tell you honestly whether the system fits.
Week 1: baseline
We measure how many enquiries come in now and how many become a home visit or quote. Tracking runs through to the signed quote.
Month 1: foundation
Website and form in order: a page per type of heat pump, an explanation of suitability and a form that asks about the home.
Months 2 and 3: Google Ads
Google Ads on buying intent, with the most budget in spring. From month 3 we build SEO for the questions about costs and brands.
Sharing leads or getting the enquiry yourself
Lead platforms and separate parties
- The customer often gets several quotes at once
- Comparison happens mostly on price
- You know little about insulation or the current boiler
- Long hesitation often means the enquiry gets lost
Your own enquiries with Marketingkenners
- The customer chooses your business deliberately
- Your advice is already visible before the first conversation
- The form collects the home details up front
- Follow-up keeps the customer warm until the decision
For heat pump installers with room to grow
If you recognise yourself in this, an intro call makes sense.
- You take on jobs of €2,000 or more
- You want to grow in your own region
- You can follow up enquiries quickly and schedule a home visit
- You want to be less dependent on shared leads
- You want to know each month which enquiries became a signed quote
- You mainly want more clicks, likes or followers. We steer on enquiries and signed jobs.
- You’d rather try it yourself first. Start in the knowledge base
- You don’t know yet where the leak is. Take the free growth scan first

Frequently asked questions
Don't see your question here? Call, WhatsApp or email us. You'll get an answer within one working day.

Does Google Ads work for heat pump installers?
Yes, if you advertise per type of heat pump. “All electric heat pump” has the highest click price in our list, because big jobs sit behind it. We set up ads per type of heat pump in your service area and measure which ones produce a signed quote. Read more about Google Ads.
When will I see the first enquiries?
In month 1 we build the foundation: website, form and measurement. In months 2 and 3 the ads go live. We do not promise a number. What you do see every month is what came in, what it cost and how many quotes got signed.
Do you also work for my competitor?
Not in your region. We work with one business per region in each trade. That way we never bid against our own client.
What does it cost?
That depends on your service area, your goals and what is already in place. In the intro call we map that out and you get a proposal. Book a free intro call.
Do I need a new website?
Not always. In the baseline we look at what your current site does with visitors. In 9 out of 10 cases it starts with a better foundation, such as a page per type of heat pump and a form that asks about the home. More traffic only after that.
